After iPad’s release in USA on 3rd April, all Apple lovers are eagerly waiting the Apple iPad to be released in their country. Apple has not announced any official date of their launch yet but it’s expected to come in middle of this month. At present iPad is available in US only but in mid April it will be available in Canada, Japan, Italy, Australia, China, Switzerland, Germany, and France as officially announced from Apple. iPad Wi-Fi models are available in market which starts from $499 price range and goes up to $699 depending on its storage whether it is 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB. The costlier 3G enabled models are not available yet in the market but they will be launching shortly and Apple is taking pre-order for their 3G models which start from $629 up to $829 based on storage capacity.
After China, India has the largest population with huge number of Apple lovers waiting for iPad release which is expected to be in a few months. Last time during iPhone Apple delayed their release in India also iPhone in India was much costlier than its price in USA. The extra price was brought to India by Vodafone who brought Apple iPhone bundled with their data plans. However, Apple is not supposed to make such delay in case of iPad, in the view that iPad will not be sold along with any data plans, which will not only bring the date of iPad’s release in India soon but also abolish the chance of its price difference from USA or other countries.
With comparison with its price in US and foreign exchange policies, the projected price of Apple iPad in India starts from Rs. 23, 000/- for the 16 GB Wi-Fi model. The 32 GB model is supposed to cost Rs. 28, 000/- & and 64 GB model Rs. 32, 000/- approximately, excluding the VAT which is 16% applicable. Apple iPad 3G model release or price is not disclosed yet. Although there is no official announcement on iPad release date or price in India, we will keep you updated as soon as we get one.
