Device Hardware:
The whole front part of the mobile phone is covered by an uninterrupted plate of glass which is not continuous only at the earpiece port located at the top. There is also a front facing camera located to the right of the LG logo. The glass slopes off to the right and left edges and is quite simple in design. The rear of the Smartphone is covered by a flexible plastic cover. Well, it is very easy to remove the back cover and again replace it. That is really a nice thing we saw in the device. You will also notice a tiny glass cover around the mobile camera which protects it from scratches and damages. The Overall design and hardware of the device is quite good and simple.

Processor:
LG Optimus employs NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processing system on the chip. It is also powered up with additional 1GHz CPU cores and 8 GETFORCE CPU cores. The dual core processor is implemented in this device as we have already discussed. Also you can see the contents of Optimus 2X and the HDTV nearest to you simultaneously. An HDMI technology is also implemented in this phone which displays 3D games and some high quality graphics without any glitch.

Camera:
Optimus 2X features a great 8MP camera. We found that the camera is one of the best things in this Smartphone. When you take photos definitely the camera is going to give you a very detailed image. You can even read very tiny text or code written anywhere without any trouble. There is no blur in the photos. The camera adjusts well with the light condition and overall situation. So, the camera will definitely impress you, especially if you are interested in a neat, dot less and detailed image.

Display:
The LG Optimus has a 4 inch WVGA LCD which is very common to the Smartphones now-a-days. But LG’s special LCD screen is one of the top notch screens. The LCD is quite bright and retains the original colors of the content even if you view it from different angles. But again the touch screen is less sensitive to the touches. Sometimes the user might have to press the buttons or swipe fingers with a little extra pressure in order to get it work correctly.

Overall design and look of the phone is great. The camera and LCD display is pretty good. But the device touch screen is little disappointing. Some users say that the software is buggy and dual core is not up to the mark. But again note that this is the first Smartphone of its kind. So, if you need a different taste then you can go for this device.
