Can iPad replace PC or Mobile?

Apple iPad – one of the latest gadgets which everybody is talking about since Apple announce its launch. But there is one debate on iPad if it can replace PC or even netbooks and mobile in the days to come. Apple iPad is considered now as the third device, the missing link between PC and mobile which has bother features to some extent. But as it is not an essential device, it comes as the third choice while buying any pc or mobile.

iPad has several features like PC or to be exact, Apple MAC. Apple iPad gives a good multimedia experience, browsing is pretty good and it has Apple iWork Suite, the innovation application for all office related work, including publishing and spreadsheets. The amazing iBook application is same as the feeling of reading any physical volume at hand. Apple iPad have millions of apps and games to be downloaded and enjoyed like PC. But it lacks in many other ways which a PC or even a Netbook can accomplish. iPad has no video calling feature; it doesn’t show files in Hard Disk format, and getting a file has only one way, scrolling until last.

Operating System in Apple iPad is almost similar with iPhone operating system, only more enhanced any larger application support. The user interface is smarter, though developed from its predecessor, iPhone 3G. File storing system is just like it is in iPhone, there is no folder system, and no hard disk partitions, files are stored in a list view and user has to scroll to get any file. Internet browsing is done by same browser in default and it offers same way to enjoy music, the iTunes way.

Apple iPad lacks many features like flv video playing, smaller storage, limited GPU, lack of multitasking and many more. In the other hand, it lacks in the most important part of a mobile, a normal SIM card, so that’s one real barrier to use it as mobile phone. Apple iPad has surely many excellent features, amazing user experience but it can’t replace any Netbook or PC yet, leaving the only possibility to use it as third device, after computer or mobile.

Terrific work! This is the type of information that should be shared around the web. Shame on the search engines for not positioning this post higher!
