Salman Khan has just hit the screens with the flick, ‘Wanted’. The music of ‘Wanted’ had been scored by none other than the composers’ duo Sajid-Wajid. Now the team of Sajid-Wajid and Salman Khan is all set once again with the upcoming well in news enterprise, ‘Main Aur Mrs. Khanna’. Yes, Sajid-Wajid has composed the music for this soundtrack whereas Salman Khan acts in the film opposite Kareena Kapoor. Let’s check it out now.

1) Don’t Say Alvida (Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Suzanne D’Mello)
The soundtrack unzips with a romantic number, ‘Don’t Say Alvida’ crooned by the trio of Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal and Suzanne D’Mello. The singers do well at their parts. The lyrics and music are what disappoint the listener. Caution: Give it one listen.

Rating: 2.5/10

2) Don’t Say Alvida – Second Version
This version is fast paced and has more beats than the original. It is just about okay, nothing extra-ordinary in it.

Rating: 1/10

3) Don’t Say Alvida – Sad Version
The sad version too does not try to be good.

Rating: 1/10

4) Happening (Sunidhi Chauhan, Wajid and Raja Mushtaq)
Next emerges on the list is ‘Happening’ that is a fun song. Sung by Sunidhi, Wajid and Raja; the track is appealing and carries the well delivered vocals of the singers. It is an item number. Sunidhi, as she is master of singing the item numbers, does brilliantly with the rendition. Other vocalists too do great. The lyrics hold values. So does the composition.

Rating: 7/10

5) Happening – Remix Version
The remix version, though is well arranged, but does not compete the original.

Rating: 6/10

6) Mrs. Khanna (Bappi Lahiri, Shaan, Sunidhi, Neuman Pinto and Suzanne)
What happened to the musicians? They roped into the horde of singers to sing this song. Their effort simply goes wrong, as the vocalists do not ignite any magic. From Bappi Lahiri, Shaan, Sunidhi Chauhan to Neuman Pinto and Suzanne – none of them do well. The western feel attached to the song does not raise the spirits. The lyrics are not appealing. The music is strictly below average. Overall effect is boring.

Rating: 1/10

7) Rabba (Rahat Fateh Ali Khan)
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan comes to rescue now. Since he is considered to give a hit number whenever he appears behind the mike, he does brilliant as usual with the track he sings. The very famous and respected singer from Pakistan, Rahat has created a special place in Indian music industry. Now Bollywood filmmakers and musicians want him in every project, as he gives hits always. ‘Rabba’ is a number he croons and spells magic simply. It is a soothing track with creative lyrics and spongy composition. Well, you will automatically go for pressing the repeat button.

Rating: 8.5/10

8) Tum Ne Socha (Wajid and Shreya Ghoshal)
A very hummable song, ‘Tum Ne Socha’ winds up the album. Carrying Wajid and Shreya on singing platform, the song is pleasing and features the mellifluous vocals of the singers. The lyrics and great and the composition is magical.

Rating: 7.5/10

Conclusion:
On the whole, the album is average carrying some good and bad songs. But the songs like ‘Rabba’ and ‘Tum Be Socha’ are what will give the soundtrack good sale at the stands and have potential to be chartbusters as well.

Overall Rating: 5.5/10
