Music Review: Dil Bole Hadippa

Yash Raj’s films always come up with spongy and melodious music. And the music is one, which everybody is found humming it around. Now the banner emerges with a new flick, ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’ starring Shahid Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee in the lead. The music is out now. Pritam has scored it. The lyrics have been penned by Jaideep Sahni.

1): Hadippa (Mika Singh)

‘Hadippa’ is sung energetically by Mika Singh. The fun tone will be liked by the listeners. Mika sings with aplomb. Lyrics are great. Composition is superb.

2): Hadippa – Remix

The remix carries the same pleasures like the original.

Rating: 6.5/10

3): Discowale Khisko (KK, Sunidhi Chauhan and Rana Mazumdar)

This number is set in a Baisakhi Mela. KK, Sunidhi Chauhan and Rana Mazumdar sing it with boisterous energy. The lyrics are splendid. Dhol amongst the instruments attracts. Composition is energetic.

4): Discowale Khisko – Remix

The remix is not appealing at all.

5): Ishq Hi Rab Hai (Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam)

Follows next is a love song sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam. Both loot the hearts with te rendition. Lyrics personify the mood and so is the music. Go for it.

Rating: 7.5/10

6): Bhangra Bistar (Alisha Chennai, Sunidhi Chauhan and Hard Kaur)

A Punjabi item number comes up next. Alisha Chinoy, Sunidhi and Hard Kaur team up to render it. All display histrionics. Lyrics and music both gel well with the theme.

Rating: 7/10

7): Gym Shim (Joshilay)

Joshilay winds up the album with ‘Gym Shim’. An energetic piece of work but is disappointing.

Rating: 2/10

Conclusion:

‘Hadippa’ is a fresh and lively album. Go and grab it.
