Another upcoming story from Yash Raj Films featuring the saga of a company created by three naughty boys and a girl that became a successful way of being rich only by their ideas. Filmed at Bangkok, Thailand this movie is a story of Mumbai in 1994 where the four made their dream of being wealthy possible by their company. Their motto is to do wrong things in the right way and they believed that to do business ‘Big Idea’ is needed, not ‘Big Money’. The four main roles are characterized by Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang & Vir Das.

Karan is a boy of 21 years of age from a middle class family, came Mumbai to earn big being bothered by his stubborn middle class minded dad. There Shahid Kapoor got the idea of creating a company with 3 his friends – Bulbul, Zing & Chandu that proved to be extremely successful later on.

Bulbul, played by Anushka Sharma is the character of a small town girl who has a big dream to be Super Model in Mumbai. She fell in love with Karan and struggled her relationship of love with business later on.

Zing is a boy originated from Sikkim living in Mumbai in that time, was failing to live up to his dream until he met Karan with whom they made the Badmaash Company, an easy way to make money but in wrong things and learnt there is no turning back from this when he realized.

Vir Das played the role of Chandu here, son of an artist father and a hairdresser mom who prevented his big dreams of being an actor. Chandu, who loves big breasted woman and hates his dominating father, got the chance of making his dreams true after meeting Karan and joining the company.

Music is done by Pritam as expected like other Shahid Kapoor movies and under the banner of Yash Raj Films who set the flow of right attitude into the film. Shahid Kapoor & Anushka Sharma’s on screen chemistry is beautifully shown to lay good effect on the film. Under the production of Aditya Chopra, this film is subject to be better than any mixture of ‘Dhoom 2’ & ‘Bunty Aur Babli’ that critics are saying to be theme source of this film.

The storyline depicts the life of these four young people and how they made the Badmaash Company altogether, the journey of love between Karan & Bulbul. Their unique idea to beat the system and do wrong things in right way to reach more heights of riches proved to be very useful as their method was not followed before. With time passes, their goals became higher and want for wealth bigger, until they were forced to stop their company under some unavailing circumstances. And stopped only to start with another ‘Big Idea’ for making one more plan to beat the system, again!
