Take tea and reduce the risk of diabetes

Diabetes has emerged as a big danger for human health all over the world. Every other person is found being affected by this disease. A new study has found some relief for the people who are concerned or are affected by diabetes. Now they can protect themselves from this disease by using very simple tip provided that if he/she intakes at least three cups of tea every day. This way, the risk of diabetes can reduce by almost half. No wonder tea has been the #1 beverage in the Asian and the entire Asian region.
The research had been done on 40,000 people whose consumption was monitored for 10 years.
The report expresses that the chemicals in all types of tea can reduce the dangers of diabetes by 42 percent but if one intake more than three cups a day, the risk cannot reduce.
One of the researchers say’s, “Consumption of at least three cups of tea and/or coffee was associated with a lowered risk of type 2 diabetes. Blood pressure and intake of magnesium, potassium and caffeine did not explain these associations.”
The beneficial effects, which are found in every cup of tea, are explained as “flavonoid antioxidants”.
Earlier when the study done, some questions were arisen by many people as to there had not been mentioned what type of tea, one should take – either black or green. Later, the researchers mentioned clearly that any type of tea can be beneficial for protecting oneself from diabetes risk.
The ingredients in tea like caffeine, magnesium and potassium (all found in tea) can cause the beneficial effect.
We have been hearing a lot about the danger of intakes of three cups of tea though the taste of tea is what drags everybody towards it. Now after this research, one can enjoy the cups of tea and can protect himself/herself from the risks of diabetes.
So why not to take three cups of tea daily to avoid diabetes? Make sure you are not adding sugar to your tea otherwise it defeats the purpose. If you must, use very light amount of sugar or honey as substitute of sugar but make sure it is pure honey.
